The primary aim of the e-journal is to provide a forum for discussions of theoretical and practical research in a number of areas connected with the study of General Linguistics and the English language, including (but not limited to) the following:

-          discourse analysis;

-          types of discourse;

-          narrative studies;

-          social, occupational, geographical varieties of English;

-          sociolinguistics;

-          semantics;

-          language and communication;

-          language and the mass media;

-          language and politics.

Attention authors of articles submitted to SAL E-Journal. Here's a specimen of how to design the layout of your paper. We suggest you send us the final version in .doc format (for easier final revision/correction). DO NOT include personal information (other than your name) into the article. Do not use your word-processor's hyphenation feature. Number pages by using your word-processor's menu (Insert, Page Numbers, Down-Centred, Number on Fist Page)
